예를들어 decide대신 make a decision을 쓴다거나, look대신에 take a look 것 말이다.

Can you imagine that teachers and students speak only in English in all classes in Korean public school? I object to the plan ‘English-only classes in public schools’ because not all Koreans need to speak English fluently, the plan will bring about the jump of private education expenses, and besides it will weaken our national consciousness and pride as Koreans.

How many jobs are there which require the ability of speaking English here in Korea? For example, does a bus driver need to speak English when he's working in a bus? How about an engineer? It's enough to read English books or have a simple conversation ability. I think it's more effective to teach some students concentratedly who really need to speak English very fluently than to teach all students. The president and new government should take cognizance of the concept about selection and concentration.

What would happen if 'English-only classes in public schools' comes true? The answer is obvious. Students would have to hear and speak English well in order to understand what a teacher teaches in English, and parents would spend more money on their children's private education. This is not a hypothesis but a reality in Malaysia in which the plan has been working since 2002 and parents suffer from high expanses on private education.

Korean is the one of the most advanced languages in the world which many linguists demonstrate the superiority. In other words, we must be aware of the rights and obligations to take pride in our language, Korean. In addition, a language is an important factor that reflects our thoughts and culture and if the plan comes into reality, young and naive students would probably lose their national consciousness. The government should know that a language is the one of the strongest defense systems that keeps us from losing our identity.

I'm not saying English is not important in Korea. However, What I'm saying is that the plan of 'English only classes in public schools' lacks planning and consideration. My opinion is that we should select and concentrate on people who really have to speak English, the plan would not solve the high education expenses problem but make it worse, and Korean is such an important weapon and shield in the culture war that we have to protect it. The government should think deeply and reconsider this ironic and stupid plan.

  • 5개의 문단(Paragraph)로 하여 Intruduction(1), Body(3), Conclusion(1) 로 구성할 것.
  • Introduction의 첫 번째 문장은 Attention Grabber(or Motivator)로 할 것

English Essay

Make your lips glossy and sexy and you’ll be kissed! I got this lip moisturizer December 30th 2006 from my girl friend. This is one of the most meaningful things to me because it keeps my lips healthy, it’s the first thing I received from my girl friend, and it reminds me of times my girl friend and I started to love each other.

Lip is an important part of our face. By the way, when the weather is dry and cold, lips are not only parched but also bleed. Lip moisturizer can protect lips from getting dry and bleeding. Moreover after you put on lip moisturizer, your lips become glossy and healthy and your girl/boy friend may perhaps feel you’re so sexy that he/she wants to kiss you.

In 2006 winter, while my girl friend and I were enjoying some cocktails and chatting in a bar, suddenly she took something out from her bag and gave it to me, and told me “Happy New Year.” The present was this lip moisturizer. The first gift is very emotional to me as much as first love, first kiss, and so on. This is the first thing I’ve got from my girl friend.

Seeing this lip moisturizer I recall that my girl friend and I fell in love each other. When I could not be sure whether she loved me as much as I do her, I was encouraged by the presentation, lip moisturizer. Finally I proposed to her to be my girl friend, and then she became my girl. And besides When I kissed her in Ilsan Lake park I was wearing this moisturizer. Our love started and continues with this lip moisturizer.

I will never forget this lip moisturizer, and always keep it seriously. My lips looked sexy due to this lip moisturizer, This is the first present from my only girl, and this is the starting point of my love. Although this lip moisturizer ran out, instead my happy memory is going to last forever in my mind.
